Paul and I almost enjoyed the Southern Safari more than the Kimberly cruise. I have emailed North Star Cruises to congratulate them on a fabulous way of experiencing the South Australian coast.

Hi to everyone at North Star,

Having just completed the Southern Safari Cruise, I want to thank everyone at North Star Cruises for making it such a memorable experience. The boat is a fantastic "Home" on the high seas, the staff fantastic and the itinerary great!

I was expecting a little adventure, but was absolutely amazed at each days activities - From teaching me to snorkel (and I'm normally terrified of the ocean), cage diving for the elusive Great Whites, swimming with Tuna and Sealions, beautiful beaches to walk, breathtaking Pearson Island to conquer, and cruising in the tender while trying to catch King George Whiting. Not to mention the great start at McLaren Vale -sumptuous morning tea, tempting tastings at Olive Grove and the wonderful Lunch and tasting at Penny's Hill Winery.

Day 1 set the tone for a fabulous holiday - good company, attentive crew, lots of laughs and interesting information - little did we realise that all of our bodies muscles would get a workout (not just our stomach and laughter muscles)!
Day 2 saw the temperature drop by 20 degrees, wind and rain - every holiday needs variety -and we certainly got it. Exhilarating tender rides, clambers over huge boulders at Remarkable Rocks, quick hike down to Admiral's Arch and tummy rumbles waiting for lunch! Everyday different but exciting!

Highlights for me - experiencing my own States coastline from a new perspective, Snorkeling ( hopefully now will be the focus of lots of holidays), discovering Pearson Island, and the opportunity to travel with my Mum and Sister in such a memorable way.

Many thanks to all the crew who were so attentive to my Mum and Sister, you made them feel special - they really enjoyed the cruise. Once again a big thank you.

The crew are exceptional - I regret that I didn't have time to personally thank each and everyone of them, but please pass on my gratitude.

Keep up the good work at North Star, looking forward to another North Star experience (possibly West Papua 2011)
